Local Syrian CSO’s Platform
The Local Syrian Civil Society Organizations Platform managed by the Syrian Networks League – SNL in Turkey was established in 2022 and from the beginning, the aim of the Local Syrian Civil Society Organizations platform, which is voluntary joining, was to support members whose profiles were audited in several ways, and support includes this participation In regional, local, and international humanitarian coordination mechanisms, participation in inter-agency humanitarian advocacy and networking with international NGOs, UN agencies, donors and other international organizations/bodies, support also includes providing information on funding opportunities, calls for project proposals and meetings with decision makers, Take advantage of capacity building opportunities and participate in the advocacy process for humanitarian issues.The local Syrian civil society organization platform consists of identified Syrian civil society institutions (individual institutions and coordination bodies) with a focus on non-governmental humanitarian coordination institutions and bodies – which implement activities inside Syria and neighboring countries, these organizations and coordination bodies by definition are non-governmental organizations and bodies Governmental, non-political and non-military.Applications submitted to the local Syrian CSO platform are reviewed by the Syrian Networks League – SNL every three months based on the criteria publicly available through this file, and all members of the local Syrian CSO platform are required to demonstrate, in all relevant cases, commitment Basic Humanitarian Standards and Code of Conduct, and a regular review of platform members is conducted annually against the standards and commitments made by the organization or coordinating body.
